My house is my habitat. It is a rather large house with green siding, a big yard, lots of trees, and a pond down behind it. Both of my parents, my younger brother, my dog, and our outdoor cats share my habitat. My brother is also raising three pigs in our shed.
Although my most important niche would be going to school, at home, my niche is being helpful around the house by doing chores and mowing grass when I'm asked to do so. My brother and I have a similar niche in these ways. My parents, however, have a different niche than I do, which would be working at their jobs to support our family.
When I get older, I know that both my niche and my habitat will change. When I go to college and eventually get a job and my own house, my habitat will be different and my niche will become taking care of my house and family.
